The BRC and its researchers foster scientific collaborations throughout the world. The exchange of ideas, techniques and personnel has been of critical importance for the rapid expansion of our research programs. These collaborative efforts have enhanced our understanding of the brain, it's pathology and the development of new stratagies to repair it.
The Brain Repair Centre has established Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with a number of prestigious institutions around the world. These MOUs establish a framework and terms of reference for cooperation and collaboration betwen the BRC and it's partner institutions. They foster cooperation in the areas of collaborative research programs, clinical programs, high level training, exchange of faculty and students, technology transfer and facilitation of commercial opportunities.
The BRC holds MOUs with the following organizations:
- Brain Research Group, Cardiff University, Wales, UK
- Center for Neuroregeneration Research, McLean Hospital/Harvard University
- Norman Bethune College of Medical Sciences, Jilin University, Chang Chun, China
- Neurodyn, Charlottetown, PEI
