What if three minutes could change the course of an idea? Or even help solve an important global challenge?

On September 14 at 6:00 pm, 14 students and early-career researchers from across Atlantic Canada will take the stage at Falling Walls Lab Atlantic Canada 2026 to do exactly that. Selected from 24 applicants, the 14 finalists will pitch breakthrough ideas spanning disciplines and institutions from across our region. Each gets just three minutes to make their case before a distinguished panel of judges - and a live audience.

Join colleagues, students, researchers, innovators and members of the public for a fast-paced evening of smart people, surprising ideas and some very big thinking. At the end of the evening, one will be named the 2026 Falling Walls Lab Atlantic Canada winner to represent our region at the Falling Walls Lab Global Finale in Berlin.
